NAS - Media/File server

Hi, planning a home file/media server build around Debian/OMV5. Considering a x86 build mini/micro ATX. Following are base requirements

• Stable, power efficient config
• 24 x 7 operation
• 6+ SATA ports
• USB C, dual WAN desirable
• Case with 8+ 3.5” HDD slots and sufficient cooling
• Power supply to match with sufficient interconnects
• Software – OMV, SnapRAID, Plex, Docker, some VMs

While there are good inputs available on the OMV forums, I’m limited a bit by MBs and cases available in India currently.

Would appreciate any thoughts/inputs on suitable hardware config. Thanks!
