NAT addressing query

I am using internet from my college which has a private IP address provided by the ISP of the range starting from 10.0.0.0 with a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0. When I open the website DNS Stuff: DNS tools, DNS hosting tests, WHOIS, traceroute, ping, and other network and domain name tools. it shows IP address of the ISP of which my college has the connection, as well as it shows the private address of the local computer i.e. 10.0.59.60 in this case from which I am connecting .

I am not able to figure out that how the site dnsstuff.com was able to get the local address as it is translated in the NAT box to the address of my ISP or a global address which will further communicate with dnsstuff.com

The scenario I stated in the above query is right as far as I have seen.
With ipconfig command IP address received is 10.0.59.60.Am I wrongly interpreting it to be using NAT ,or there is some other reason for this behaviour.

Simple - there are several techniques.

One is "private headers". These are present often in NATted environments. Even if you scrub private headers (Zone Alarm has an option), sites can load javascript scripts through your browser (if it allows js, and it most certainly will) to check your private IP.
