Getting one within the warranty period seems impossible Most 9800Pros will be over 1 and a half years to 2 yrs old.

^^BBA 9800 pros have 3 year warranty . So yours is still in warranty if it was bought in retail. Mine was bought in March 2004 and recently got it replaced.

Oh okay, yeah it was bought in retail, so it has another year left! But remember that it was bought from abroad, so it won't be applicable here.
