Guys,
I am out to buy a monitor today, I found the Dell 1909 at theItwares.com selling for Rs6800-this seems like a hot deal.
Requesting the following information:
1. Remarks on Dell ASS off-late
2. Remarks on the Dell 1909 monitor
3. Suggestion for a better alternative (if any)

^Amen to that LCD. Friend's using one since a couple of months purcahsed via Lynx, Amarbir for 7.3k back then. Very good panel for 7k. Not as good as the older E1908WFP but still worth the price.
 
Dell 1909 is a good one

the main problem with this is it is pretty scarce and it may not be available

if it is available to you its ok

otherwise go for Samsung 2033SW @7.1K

Well Abhi i bought the same monitor last month and have been using the same.
It's working great, dell has given 3 year replacement warranty on the same.
All the new models that are getting launched now are in 16:9 version,
E1909w is 16:10 and is not in stock everywhere .

I bought one before the supply stopped as it has good reviews ...
 
BenQ also makes good quality monitors, for 19' I suggest BenQ G900WD is pretty good monitor, I am using it, great for gaming (price 6.4k)
