Need A Digital Camera

Erm.. it's basically for daily purposes.. nothing for extremely professional purposes.. Don't keep much knowledge about camera's either.

I kinda liked:

Budget is around 15k.

The sony one get's a bit expensive as far as i know.. Please update me on it.. Might be cheaper.. Seems better too.

Please help me out.. Just want to make sure I don't miss out on most of the features..

Decide if you will be comfortable lugging around that big a package for your daily purpose. The prosumer cameras you have mentioned have good features but are quite bulky. I would rather suggest you look at ultrazoom compact cameras like Panasonic TZ10. They fit your budget as well as your jean pocket.
 
Erm yeah true that.. but the Sony Cyber-shot HX5V/B seems pretty sleek as well.. and has awesome specs as well!

Any idea how much would the TZ10 cost me?
 
Cool.. planning to get the Sony one then.. I got a service center near by too just in case.. Plus i have used the brand (in case of camera's) before so shouldn't be a problem getting used to it..

Update;

decided to go with the Sony HX5V/B

Searched the market.. not available locally.. (at Sony stores)

Getting it either from Gaffar Market (Delhi) or asking a cousin residing in Europe to send one for me. Will update as soon as I get one. ;)
 
Already ordered.. getting warranty.. the person's a retailer there.

Also, I'd go with Sony as it's reliable.. heard about a lot of good and bad things about Panasonic's Quality..
