Need a Dual Sim with Dual Active Standby, Upto 10k

Hi,
Looking for a phone with Dual Sim with Dual Active Standby which means both sim should work at same time. Budget is not really a concern at its gonna be a diwali gift for dad:eek:hyeah: but I would like it under 10k
the requirements are simple:
  • Dual sim with Dual Active Standby
  • Avoid touchscreens phone
  • GPRS/Edge function needed on either sim, so we can check emails while on the go either on mobile & laptop.
  • Long battery life and reliable
So far I have been seeing only one option:

so should I go ahead with this Samsung phone or where are some other options?

Dual Active & Dual Standby...Aint these different words? I'm always confused by this stupid dual sim jargon
Duos series is something you should look at...C6112 is ofcourse one of the Duos

Motorola EX128 is a touch screen phone so I would avoid it but Motorola EX115 looks nice. Any review of Motorola EX115?

Duos series is something you should look at...C6112 is ofcourse one of the Duos

I am not sure either lol, All I care this both sim should work at same time, both in standby mode and while on call.

Guys, went to store today. I couldn't find Samsung C6112. Hotspot people claimed it has been discontinued. Nokia c2 is not available. Lets if I can find a decent phone, else I have to settle for basic ones like Samsung 3212

These are the must have features:

* Both sim active at same time. meaning if there ongoing call on sim1, and I get incomming call on sim2. I should get a notification about that.

* Good battery backup time

* Internet for checking email.

* Don't care about camera or music player. And would like to avoid touch screens.

so people, please suggest some good dual sim phone

Thanks for the review. Upon searching I found this video, here the guy say if If sim1 is in use(on call), sim2 will be unreachable. is that correct?


If yes, then its a deal breaker for me.

Active meaning sim1 (on call) | sim2 (call waiting) and vice versa.

Many reviews say only one sim is active, to use the other one we have to manually switch over????

^^^for incoming calls no sim selection is required -calls on sim2 show up as waiting when sim1 is active, however for outgoing calls you need to select the sim card.
