Need a gizmo for capturing still images

I have a operating camera which has 2 DVI out, as well as 2 S- Video out. I connect the S-video to a DVD recorder, which has a HDD, so video gets recorded there. The DVI out goes to a monitor. I need some solution where I can get still images during the surgery. Any gizmo I can connect to the other outputs, where I or an assistant can take snapshots during surgery and store on a memory card?

I do not want to connect to a PC and use a capture card etc.

Suggestions?
