Need A Good Router for multiple devices/consoles

Hi

So my current router is shitty netgear model that cost me 2k. it gives me 70% signal strength on wifi when im 5 feet away from it and it seems like wifi downloads are super slow on consoles and on my laptop

can someone recommend something better, i can stretch to 5k if need be.
thanks

I may be selling my Asus rt-66n router, currently on merlin fw 378.55 beta 2.
See pics below for signal strengh.

This is a pretty good deal.If you are looking for a new model I would suggest this.I am using this and range wise 2.4 Ghz is far better than my Cisco Linksys E1200.
The 5 Ghz band loses out in range (40% at around 30 ft) but is much faster
