need a good subtitle editor/synchronizer - PLZ SUGGEST

Guys, need a good subtitle editor/synchronizer to sync subs (preferably srt) with video. Should do the task with perfection and equip video preview supporting widely used formats. Plz suggest one, as I have a movie (mother of tears: the 3rd mother) wherein subs with proper sync isn’t available anywhere in the web..

You know, KMPlayer can resync subtitles to any fps you need. You can also add delays etc to finally sync up the subtitle. May take some trial and error though.
 
+1 to Sreenisatish's suggestion.
Right click on the video and go to Subtitle menu.
You get plethora of options to edit/modify subtitles.. Works flawlessly and easy to use.
 
Actually i've already tried using one such option to delay subtitles under vlc media player. But the functionality itself is not working at all and KM player is not that good as VLC player. Used it once and got rid of it. Anyway will download the latest version and try.
