i would like to game will be good if it can play games at lower setting playable (optional)




  • What size and weight considerations do you have? (e.g. Do you want a 17" desktop replacement or you want an ultraportable 12" or something in between)

11" to 14"



  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? (e.g some would prefer to stay away from Acer or Dell)

None, but should give best VFM

i will be carrying this netbook or laptop with me all day and may type some email daily, will be good if it can play some old games lke AOE, COD etc...

ok so i have been to lamington road today to check for the laptop and all shops are quoting around 20k for a netbook, so after very much thinkging i have decided to drop idea of 12" netbook, so i will buy now a full featured 14" laptop with DVD and better specs.

Get the Toshiba Satellite C850 for about 21K locally. Decent specs.for the price and Toshiba is a reliable brand.

I'am using the C665 which is the previous iteration of the C850 and the performance is quite decent for a 21k Notebook. Build Quality is good as well. Only downside is the poor quality display which is again a norm for budget notebooks.
