Well,I need to gift my dad a mobile and my MAX budget is 11k
I don't need any fancy touchscreen or slider stuff coz i find them useless :P

Iam planning for a E63
Any suggestions are welcomed
I tried corby txt and corby plus/pro but i found them useless
I need to buy within a week so please suggest
 
Dude E63 is old and not worth the money now, Wait for 2 weeks if you can and go for New Nokia E5, Watch out here for it, it will available for 10k

If you are not brand specific then you can even go for Micromax Q5, thats a good phone.

then you have Nokia 6303i and Nokia 6700 Classic also. I may end up telling you about nokia phones because of my obsession for Nokia Mobiles
 
Both the 6700 classic and the E63 are very competent phones, but the E63 being an older model doesn't support GPS nor does it fully support 3G.(max upload/download is 384 kbps which is about 1/10th of what full 3G phones offer.)

Depending on what you need, you may choose between these two. E63 gives you a QWERTY keypad while the 6700 offers 3G, GPS and a 5 Megapixel camera, but no Wi-Fi.

The recently launched Sony-Ericsson Elm is also a very good phone spec-wise. Plus its environment-friedly. Initial reviews are quite good, you can take a look here. It has all features of the 6700 plus Wi-fi. The price will be a tight affair, it may go a few hundred out of ur price range.

Now,what about the blackberry 8520 Curve ?

Is that a good piece with respect to sound output with and without headphones ??

I know it has all the other features and is one piece iam looking forward to but i still wanna know how is the sound output
