My iBall Laser Precise mouse has finally started acting up ... the scroll thing doesn't work.... Which mouse <1k should I pick up?

if you can find logitech mx310 then get that. its for around 550rs. otherwise ms comfort 3000 for around 800 - 900rs. if you can extend your budget then get the logitech mx518 which is for 1300rs. its a great mouse & amazing vfm

not at all. for 1300rs mx518 is the way to go.

also please buy the surface mousepad from lamington road. it cost 20rs. you will thank me once u get it.
 
No question over MX being good..

the only drawback with MX is its ergonomics ( which for a right handed user is very good )...

So mate...if ur a right handed user...Mx sure is a better mice..and considerin that ur last mice was an everyday design mice..not with particular type of ergonomics....so it might take time to get acquainted with the new design...

and on the other hand...the reason y i say that Ms Intelli 1.1 aka IMO is a real VFM mice...is that its a very nice built mice...no hassle ...easy to use...good for gaming + normal usage..the design is usual...so doesnt take much time to get acquainted to....most preferred mice :P

Btw...i mahself is using a mx from real long now :P

i thought stormy was talkin bout the mx518......thats y all that explanation...

neways....since its the mx310 which is being discussed....

i say...Ms 1.1 > Mx 310
 
@Keane The mx518 is selling all over N.P at Rs 1300-1400. Try the shops near cost-to-cost and the other smc branch.
 
Pick up the MX518 i've used it for like 3 years and its totally bang for the buck not that i've used it insanely i'm picking up a new one next week and i must say its really comfortable. and it helps improve even those gamers who are trying really hard for fps game.
 
^^^man i have started using the MX518 for the past couple of weeks and is still stuck with 400dpi, any higher and my control goes awry, what do you guys suggest so that i get accustomed to higher DPI's, now cant use higher DPIs in game, any other way???

increase dpi & reduce the sensitivity :)

@cool_chap - i dont know what you are reading. i said if he cant go over rs 1000 then he should get a mx310. but if you are telling him to spend 1300rs then he should get the mx518.

WHy... its available in Nehru place also... :P

you can get the MX 518 from SMC or from the Logi dealer itself... and the Surface mouse pads are available just a few shops further down from SMC :)

even i use mx518 at 400 dpi, it's much more accurate on low dpi's. I also need to increase the DPI and decrease the sensitivity.
