I've tight budget of 25k. Want to buy a PC in a day or two.I would like an all round PC(know my budget is less). My needs are: a little bit of everything ,a little gaming(not very high end, just slight gaming) ,watching movies, net surfing,etc,etc...
So can you pls suggest me a config.. in that budget.

Components Description Price (INR)

Processor Intel PDC G620 3300

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3 3300

RAM Kingston or Corsair 2GB DDRIII 1333MHz 700

HDD Seagate 500GB 7200.12 1950

GPU Sapphire ATI Raedon HD5670 512MB GDDR5 4000

Monitor Dell IN2020M 5900

Cabinet CM Elite 310 1500

PSU Gigabyte Superb 460 or FSP SAGAII 400w 1950

Key Board Logitech SET - Optical Blk Mouse+ MMKB 650

Mouse NA -

ODD Samsung 22X SATA DVD 950

Speakers Altec Lansing 2.1 BXR1121 950

Total 25250

If the HD5670 512MB GDDR5 is not available then you can get a HD6570 1GB DDR3 ~ 3.8k. THis config is pretty decent for a entry level PC and casual gaming.

Hey fellas. i am not a gamer but i do multitasking like all 3 browsers running with few tabs, downloading and playing music at the same time etc. Please suggest me a configuration which dosen't cost me much as well as fit my needs.

Thanks

Maddy

@mdyipm: Please mention your budget

But based on the usage you have written get a i3 2xx, for multitasking and browsing Ram is needed get a 4 GB(2 GB X 2) ram, go for a H67 motherboard, or if you want to save further go for h61, for graphics card 5670 or 6570 are good options

OP for your uses, best option is Llano in my opinion --

AMD A8-3850 ~ 6800/-
Gigabyte GA-A75-D2H ~ 6500/-
Corsair XMS3 1600 MHz RAM 4GB x 1 ~ 1500/-
NZXT Gamma ~ 2100/-
Corsair CX V2 430W ~ 2200/-
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB ~ 1900/-
Dell IN2030M ~ 6400/- [LED back-lit, 20" 16:9 ratio monitor, no HDMI-out though]
Samsung / LG OEM DVD drive ~ 1000/-
APC BR 650VA-IN UPS ~ 2600/-
Altec Lansing BXR 1221 ~ 1000/-
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit copy ~ 6500/- Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 7, Buy Windows 7 Online at Microsoft Store, get the original it is worth it, prevent PIRACY support legit softwares.

This will serve you well, but if you want an Intel opinion get these components instead --

Intel Core i3 2100 ~ 5500/-
Intel DH65-BL ~ 5200/-
[rest configuration same as AMD]

For a square up of Intel vs. AMD, here goes -- AMD A8-3850 APU Review: Llano Hits the Desktop - Page 24 / AnandTech - Bench - CPU.

Hope this helps, Sire. Cheers!!

Sire, get OP's permission or create a new thread for your own purposes. Also I think the RIG I've mentioned for OP should suit you as well, reduce the AMD processor to AMD A6-3650 from the A8-3850 and in Intel you can step down to the Pentium G*** line-up if you are on tighter budget constraints.
