PC Peripherals Need a webcam, max budget Rs 2500

My friend needs a webcam and the maximum budget is Rs. 2500. I am thinking of Logitech® Webcam C270

so please post your suggestions. Just need to have a good clarity video chat over a 1Mbps broadband connection.

Supra, how is the quality of the Headphones that comes with it as my friend wants to know whether to buy a separate one.. purpose is to do a voice chat (skype)

i would advice you to buy Logitech C310 available at flipkart for 1287... it got great reviews from newegg buyers... Newegg.com - Logitech C310 USB 2.0 HD WebCam

C270 has 3MP camera and C310 has 5MP camera... C310 is overall better than C270...

C270 has 3MP camera and C310 has 5MP camera... C310 is overall better than C270...

The sensor for both is the same. Its a 2MP sensor on both. 5MP/3MP is just software enhanced

You can get a Logitech C525 in that budget. I bought the same a few days back. I got positive opinions from my skype friends on the clarity of picture and sound.

+1 to Logitech C525. I got one for office recently and am happy with the purchase. Just ordered one for home today
