Need ADC for gaming headphone setup

Hi,
Here is my current audio setup -

Headphone - Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro
USB DAC/AMP - Fiio E10k
Mic - Antlion ModMic
Onboard sound card - Not working
External sound card - Asus Xonar U7

I'm happy with the headphones and DAC and overall experience. My issue is that using the Xonar just as a ADC for the mic, this seems like an awful waste. I'd rather sell it and find a cheaper solution to connect my mic to the PC.

Seeking advice from you guys. Do you think I should leave it as it is? Or try to find a cheaper solution to connect the mic?

I don't think that makes much sense. A pro sound card is going to cost a lot. I'm thinking of selling one of the parts just to save some money.

Keeping the current setup would be cheaper and the sound quality is good enough
