Audio Need advice for headphones..

Have been using the Sennheiser HD 180 for sometime now..
but want something better now..

mainly for music and movies..
to me sound detailing is more important than bass..so dont want a bass heavy headphone..
will drive them through the onboard audio of pc..

closed cans preferred ...auditioned the HD 437..but those are open and too much bass..so dint go for them.

budget : 2k..can stretch it to 2.5k if its really worth it..

sennheiser px-100 but those are open but still vfm and good sound. Koss porta too is good but i think its a tad more than 2.5k and a bit heavy on bass...

look into the jvc ha-rx700 / mediahome's planing to get em locally or u get em off geb ebay.. good pair for the price

Leave out the JVC RX700 since you don't want a lot of bass. The RX700 has lots of it.

Koss PortaPro is the best choice. Really great for its price.
