PC Peripherals need advice on 2nd rig

hey guys this new rig is for my bro and for mild gaming(and i mean like no gaming)and for more of using word and emails and browser etc

now i have made a list and got the price so please advice me on the price and if i can buy something better for less amount

CPU C2Duo 2.88ghz E 7500 Rs.6,000/-
Mother Board Asus intel Chipset Rs.2,650/-
Ram 1GBx2 DDRII Corsair Rs.1,900/-
DVD RW Sony Rs. 1,200/-
HDD 500 GB sata Seagate Rs.2,600/-
SMPS 400Watt Corsair Rs.2,500/-
Cabinet Cooler Master Rs,2,200/-
TFT 22" Benq Rs.8,800/-
UPS APC 500VA (two years onsite warranty) Rs.2,300/-

= 30150

this is the price and i will surely reduce a bit but can any1 give me a better components for good price?

any input would be great

I would recommend this small correction
Processor: AMD Phenom II 550BE (3.1GHz, 6MB cache) - 5.4k
Mobo: Biostar 785GE - 3.4k
The 785G is a far superior IGP and can handle HD videos and casual gaming with ease.
Plus as you dont have a discrete GPU the corsair PSU is a overkill.
I would suggest a Zebronics Pro 350w @ 1.5k
If you can afford go for a Biostar 790GXBE mobo @ 4.4k. If you get a good batch of the proccy like the 0922 APMW/0925then this mobo can unlock the ramining two cores and you will have a 3.1GHz quad core processor :)

If you plan to use it only for browsing, office work and very little gaming
CPU: E 5300: Rs.3,300
Mother Board: Gigabyte EG31S2L - Rs.2,400
SMPS Zebronics Pro 350w: Rs.1,500
Stick with other components of your suggested config.

It is more than enough for browsing and office duties and you can save extra 4k.
If you are not worried about looks of the cabby then you can replace Zebronics Pro 350w+Cooler Master Cabinet~3.7k with a zebronics Bijili cabinet with SMPS~1.7k so you can get a system for ~24k which serves your purpose well. :)

i really dont wanna go ATI and also i have 9800 gt with me

so the 9800gt will go in his rig

thats y i want a corsair brand thing with PSU to not be worried

I think C2D is an overkill for word/email/browsing/occasional gaming.

Maybe you could go with an E5200/E5300.

Also, you did not mention any gfx card. Are you looking for onboard solutions?

actually i didnt buy additional its just there

so why not use it?

also he wants this setup so i cant really make it any more less expensive

also will try to get e5500 though

any more advices?

also are the prices right?

Do make sure you get the Gigabyte G31M ES2L instead of that asus board.

HDD- WDC 500GB SATA 3.5" -2.5k

Cabinet-CM Elite 334-2.1k
