Need advice on buying modem/router from outside India

I am planning to buy adsl modem router from US or Australia. Any one has any experience in this as to will they work in India. I am specially aiming Belkin N1 Vision ModemRouter .... Also can anyone share their input as to how is N1 Vision performance wise.

Nothing is mentioned about the wireless standard, nor the transfer speed it supports. What induced your mind to go for this ?. looks ?. IMO better get a good router from India itself. As far as wireless products are concerned they are not fully matured as for now. So its wise to get it here itself because of A.S.S. Think the availability and the price is what matters to you. Look here and decide.

Stay away from this atleast for sometime. By the time it is released in India, it would be revived with a couple of FW updates.....
