Has anyone tried ECS motherboards. They come in micro atx form. I heard some good review online and offline.

I am currently having gigabyte ma785-us2h and amd athlon x2 240, my brother wanted another system, so looking for ECS or gigabyte motherboard. total 6 K budget.

Can anyone Suggest me a good ecs or gigabyte mb and a good AMD processor. This wont be a gaming pc or used for photoshop or animation. It is for data entry purpose. Just a basic home pc, but it should be fast and last for some time. Thanks a lot for help.

I have used ecs boards and was happy with it (used it for ~6years). Would rate ecs to be better than biostar (another brand I have owned).

Not sure if ecs is easily available here. I havent seen any (I had this in US). In terms of quality, I would rate - Gigabyte > ECS > Biostar
IMO, better to go for Gigabyte than searching for a ECS board.

Hi.. thanks for the reply.. ECS motherboard is available here. One of my friend brought ECS H61H2-M17 (for 2800/-), but it is for intel

I like amd, so if anyone could post a good ECS mb and processor, it would be great.

Thanks Crazy_Eddy..but what is my next option with amd if the budget is increased to 7 to 7.5 k.. Thanks..

None. The next step up from an X2 would be to an FX 4300, and that costs 7K for the CPU alone.

I was thinking of getting ECS A960m for about 2.5 k. Can you suggest a good processor to go with it.. thanks

it has ddr 3 with 1866 ram but only with am3+ process, which seems costly, so thinking of getting an am3 processor. How about amd athlon x2 270..it is about 3k. Please suggest. thanks.
