Hey guys,
I am planning to upgrade my graphics card. The GTs 250 i am selling to a member here and i want to get an upgrade. The question is i have a relative coming down in a month or so. I am already getting RAM sticks from there.
My question is if i buy a graphics card from there will there be any problems with my system compatibility ??
The specs after upgrade will be as follows:
AMD PhenomII 550BE
8GB Kingston HyperX Red
Some MoBo ( Have to decide that)
A good PSu for around 3.5k
and last the graphics card!

Please advise. I am getting the GTX 650 for 105 CDN$ (~6200) and the 7770 HD for 124 CDN $(~7300Rs).
This PC needs to last another 3 years! So please advise accordingly! And my budget for just the card is 8000Rs. Also an early response will be much appreciated!

I would suggest u to tell your friend to bring GTX 650 Ti 2 GB (ZOTAC) this will be much better than 777O HD.[DOUBLEPOST=1380551639][/DOUBLEPOST]PSU should be S12ii Seasonic 520 watt. it will cost u around 4000/- This is best PSU till date.

I would recommend Asus rather than Zotac if you are buying any Boost edition of GTX650ti because I am hearing a lot of complaints of Zotac A.S.S.

Umm i am just getting 8GB of Kingston Hyper X Red from Canada. Decided to source the graphics card locally. Also i game at 1600x900, so would a 2GB graphics card really be of any use to me? I mean my GTS 250 512MB DDR3 ran AC3 at all high with AA 2x and didn't have any issues whatsoever. Also how good would a XFX 7790 be ? FK shows it at 10658Rs for the 1GB GDDR5 edition. Is it better than the GTX650?

I have one more question - can current gen AMD cards handle Physics processing as well as Nvidia??
