Need advice regarding earning/receiving money from overseas

I recently started working freelance for a client from UAE for software development. Its all fine and dandy but I'm confused regarding how I can receive money from the UAE into my ICICI bank account in India. There are many options to choose from but I would preferrably want to use the one which charges the least processing fees. The client will be sending payments weekly so there's that to note. Also, I'm hoping I won't get in any troubles with the govt or the tax dept (I'm still in college, not sure if that helps or not), would like any tips regarding that as well if anyone has experience.

If the amounts are low then ask them to wise it to you. But legally the best way is to have a consulting agreement with them and to have a gst. Then you need to file gst returns and file your taxes under 44ada. If the amounts are not negligible I would suggest you to consult a ca. Would cost much less than having problems with the tax man

Check with UPI they have some features like accept/receive money from overseas.

2nd option ask directly to ICICI Relationship Manager or visit bank.

If its one time, just use remitly or else you can setup skydo, they charge more but easy to setup. Alternatively use wise.
