HTC One V would be in your budget and will fulfil your requirements but can't surely say anything about community support as of now but as it is a mid range device it'll most likely have good support.

Request for a 10% off coupon in the eBay thread & use it to One V in about 15K.

Is there any community support for defy+.

I am more inclined towards defy + and it is rugged phone with good features.

Apart from camera defy+ is on par with HTC One V.

So any suggestions guys.

Ya i know about the community support is very good for Defy.

But one thing that concerns me when going for defy is Green lens and blue lens issue.

So if i go for defy+ it has improved cpu clock and assured red lens camera.

And is the 400 mhz boost enough to go for defy+ instead of defy.

And what else is the difference between defy and defy+ apart from cpu spee.

No other difference other then the overclocked cpu. Performance in most of the apps/games remain same. Also the defy+ has official IP67 cert. Earlier defy was supposed to have it but It was mysteriously removed. Anyway I and most reviewers feel that even the ruggedness is same.
