Laptops Need Decent USB Speakers For Notebook

Hi guys
I need a decnet pair of usb speakers which complement my macbook. I dont want to splurge and my budget is around 1000-1500.Any suggestions?

Altec XT1s? Not sure what else is available. These are port powered and no need of a power brick.

i bought a cheapo ozaki for 700 bucks! Pretty decent actually! Its an american brand and retail price is around 1500 but delaers give it for 700!
