Need desk/wall decor ideas for my work/gaming desk and the room

Guide
I need some economical ideas to make my work/gaming desk look better.
I'm open to have light/pots etc. on the desk. Some rearrangement ideas are also welcome.

Also looking to decorate the wall behind with photo frames/ambient lights etc.

The whole room is dedicated to work/entertainment.

Below are the pictures of my current setup:

Case is mostly left open since I mine when I don't game ;)
The kid gaming in the first picture is not me.

So the kid is your kid or what ?

You room has Ac then would suggest to cover up the cabinet. If you would like to show off then rather than risking keeping the case open which will attract dust and insects, better shift to transparent window cabinet. All purposes will get served!
Get a wall carpet and behind the table if there's any gap you can install led light strips either single color or rgb. It will depend on how wild your imaginations will run.

Most importantly, on a safer note I would personally suggest to move the cabinet to the primary table rather than leaving it on the mercy of those hinges as I can see the table has almost bent due to the case weight.
A major accident happened with my cabinet where it was aligned extremely close to the table edges then and just a touch of my arm and it fell down/collapsed and was hanging. Thankfully all components were good but damage to motherboard front panel as the cable was running inside-out. (happened in the year 2k3-4)

Better to swap places of cabinet and laptop for worry free balance.

Can you post a sample picture, so that I can actually visualize how it'll look. Also will the wall carpet cover the whole wall in front of me (it's 11 feet high and 15 length) ?

Even though the extension has been holding really well for last 4-5 months, I'll give it a try this weekend to swap the laptop and the case (managing cables is the biggest task here).

Where do you suggest to put the led light strips? just 1 centimeter away from corners along the bottom edges? I have a bad imagination.

You can try Kona Lamp Pro from Homey Domey. These go on the floor and won't take up space.

The original one costs a lot more.

So swapped the case and laptop on the desk (took almost 2 hours phew).

Anyone have their say on backlighting frames on a pvc wall stickers? Like below frame:

On a 3d wall sticker like below:

I want to apply these sticker behind the table and hang some photo frames with backlighting.

budget?

1) instead of your desk use a wall mounted counter. Use glass, or a 24mm thick piece of ply for the desktop.
2) install some shelves behind your desk, and fill them with books/personal items.
3) hang some photos/art in your room.
4) get some plants in nice pots.
5) get lamps to create mood/focus lighting

I'd suggest not getting 3d wall stickers, as they're not cheap (Rs40 /sq ft) when you compare the price to getting a new paint job(Rs.35/sqft - using the best paint, and sanding, priming and re-plastering your walls). They're a quick fix solution, and aimed more at renters. If you repaint, then you could hide the wiring that's in your room for a nominal cost.

You can also get a pegboard for the area behind your desk.
