Hi Friends ....

I want to buy new 120 mm silent (low price) fans for my case ...

How is Cooler Master 120mm fan 90 CFM fan ???

Or suggest any other fan like it ???

Pls help me guys i want to buy it within 2 days ...

if you don't need a led fans go for coolermaster's blademaster series--google it -the 120mm pwm fan available for 350rs and for 275 you get the 92mm and for 250 you get 80mm.i have it for my cpu cooler and cabinet--really good and silent.

if you want very good quality led fans go for gelid---amarbir has it in lynx.

That fan makes a lot of noise only on side panels. Put it anywhere else and it works well. That said, it does not push 90 cfm, and its mroe like 45-50 cfm. Its the same fan which was earlier being sold as 70 cfm, now being sold at 90 cfm.

None the less its a good fan, but dont use it for your heatsink. It does not have the pressure required for heatsinks and radiators.

I need fans for my case not for cpu cooler ...

And i want good 120 mm silent fan within 400-500 range ...

Any other suggetions ???

Yateloons if u can get them both the medium and the high speed ones are great for cases. Check out chillep pc. Its a uk site and shipping is not very expensive.

One advice:

For your silent purpose, try to lower the voltage through so that you have good combination of air flow vs low noise. I have cooler master and they are noisy beast. So I just lowered the voltage to 6 and they are running fine now.

The search for the silence with a high CFM, I have tried almost most of the fans, excluding Sycthe, CM stock fans are almost noiselsss as well as being useless, 40 CFM does no good, Amigos are good but they also sufer fronm noise, had some local fans which had no CFM listed but ran like a Jet, lol, anybody using really silent fans with good CFM please do share your feedback

i would recommend Silverstone FM121 but it's a bit on the pricey side...
will set you back for 750/-.
but it really does 110CFM & Comes with it's own fan controller

The CM90 CFM fan is noisy only when stuck against fan guards like the ones in the cm690 side panel, prolly bcoz the mesh hinders the intake causing the noise, otherwise its reasonable imo

Is it silent ???

Produce low noise compare to my Amigo fans ????

Thermaltake ThunderBlade are not silent. I have three of them. They make noise similar to Amigo Fan's.(I don't care of that noise:P)

If you don't care of noise get Amigo 120mm....you will get it for ~175rs and it pushes lot of air. But, it's loud & some may find 4 different color LED unpleasant to look at(afaik Amigo also has all 4 Blue, Green & Red Fan's but, I haven't seen here).

We may be getting a few Lian-Li fans, similar, if not better than Xigmatek's quality. Will post some specs later, and send out a piece to Shripad or Bikey for a basic test. :)
