It uses Frostbite 3 and combines the “intensity of the street’s ultimate rivalry between cops and racers,” in an open road environment where players can choose between being a police officer or a racer.

As a racer, the goal is to “become infamous for taking risks” and capturing your shenanigans on video. The more cops players evade, the more Speedpoints they will collect, enabling them to unlock new cars and items. Earn more Speedpoints and become a “more valuable target to the cops”.

Police officer players work together as part of a team to nab the racers, and will earn prominence by doing so, causing them to rise within the ranks of the Police Force.

The Ferrari returns to the franchise with Rivals, for the first time in seven years, and players will be able to get behind the wheel of the F12 Berlinetta.

They could have been a bit more imaginative with the plot . Hopefully the gameplay is a bit better and they make it difficult to obtain higher level cars.

game itself doesn't excite me, but the use of Frostbite 3 engine does, why the f can't they just make an NFS like the original MW, is it that hard? :P

Been that way for last 3 years man and its sickening me to no ends.
I do understand that t hey want to maintain their cult but they should just look up how rivals have evolved and just get in with the times. This police vs racers bullshit is cowboy worlds horse crap.

After watching this trailers the games seems like the hot pursuit new version with better graphics..:bored:

Wow! Hot Pursuit was one my favorite NFS games (second to Most Wanted 2005). Really looking forward to this. :joyful:

NFS: MW was the way to go. Even if they re-released it with improved GFX keeping every other thing same, I will love it.

I am surprised that anyone can doubt that. :P
Big fan of the MW - the last challenge - yellow Gallardo, 30mins of pursuit evading in 5/6th level was amazing.

Yup waiting for 5 mins on bus stand till Mia gives location on map :playful:

Waiting for mia call is last mission on BMW M3 GTR.
But as mathrisk mentioned the last challenge was awesome. Evading cops in heat level 7 ( i think) ... in a yellow charger like car (not gallardo if my memory serves me right).

That mission was meh! :p It was some muscle car (not the Gallardo) and I used to drive straight into the adjacent stadium by hitting the pursuit breakers. All the cop SUVs get knocked out and the pursuit ends there.

Yes very much same for normal pursuit too, to earn massive bounties. Starting from there police station -> Bus stand -> sea area -> U turn from petrol pump -> waiting at bus stand again and then running straight in to baseball stadium. :angelic:

Have anyone know about this news that Jesse Pinkman aka Aron Paul is in the upcoming NFS Movie.. LoL just found out today :p
