PC Peripherals need gaming mouse and mouse pad

Go with Logitech Mouse G400 - Rs.1.6k and Razer Goliathus Mouse Pad Speed edition - Rs.550 you can also consider Razer Death Adder - Rs 2.4k over logitech but has only one year warranty plus it is not durable..

Just stretch the budget and get Corsair Vengeance M60-3k with Razer Goliathus Speed or Control matt-650/- This is the best deal and op don't go for Razer DA it has built quality issues, many guys on forum had to throw away the mouse due to left click problem.

need gaming mouse and mouse pad

budget 3000/-

Look into these mice --

LOGITECH G300 ~1300/- http://www.techenclave.com/topic/510105-logitech-g300-review/ / http://techgage.com/article/logitech_g300_gaming_mouse_review/.

LOGITECH G400 ~1600/- http://www.gamersedge.co.uk/2012/01/logitech-g400-review/ / http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17453&Itemid=23.

Roccat Kova ~1800/- http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/roccat_kova/ / http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=805&Itemid=65.

Corsair Vengeance M60 ~3000/- http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Corsair-Vengeance-M60-Mouse-Review/1526 / http://benchmarkreviews.com/?id=893&Itemid=65&option=com_content&task=view.

For mouse mat, you can look at the following --

Razer Goliathus / Cooler Master Storm Tactics Pad-M ~700/- [both these mats are control editions]

Roccat Sense ~1100/- [a speed type mat, the tracking-accuracy might take a hit at high dpi's due to its smoothness]

Hope this helps, Cheers!!

thanks alpha between can you provide the link from where to buy them from at those,

because in my place i am not getting any of the products mentioned at those prices

All these are available at flipkart.com and all the prices have taken a hike it seems [~200/- quid on an average], so apologies there, Sire.

By the way where are you from?

No don't. It has quality issues (I think), the click spring just sounds weird during clicks
<
(mostly of palm grip is not maintained)

What about m60? Where can i get it from? Cant find it on flipkart.

You have few options in the form of Prime ABGB and other specialist hardware providers, but the M60 is over-priced and I do not see anyone using ~5700 dpi setting mouse, so not worth it.

A LOGITECH G400 is more than enough, if you go to local tourneys and such. If you want a ambidextrous mouse with same feature set as the G400, the Roccat Kova+ is a stellar option.

Hope this helps, Cheers!! And happy gaming.

No local tourneys. Not even mp gaming.

My mx518 died recently. I loved it. I think i should go for g400. Btw any idea if i should go for a goliathus speed or control pad? Been using local pad till now and it damages the gliding surface of the mx518.

Control Goliathus is brilliant, though I think still its a bit smoother than I would like. Vespula is just not worth the money.

Okay coupling with a Logitech G400 I would recommend that you buy the Cooler Master Tactics Pad-M ~750/-.

It is a control edition mat, but these reasons are why I enjoy it more than the Razer Goliathus and assorted mouse-mats --
  • thicker mat, really sticks where you throw it down.
  • the weave is pretty much similar to the Razer Goliathus control, but the colour is darker.
  • the Medium size [denoted by the M] is as larger than Razer's Large size.
  • Good mat for fast optical sensors.

Hope this helps, Sire. Cheers!!

All cloth mats attract dust Sire, all of them. Even my 2 year old Razer Goliathus has a fine film of particulate matter and I dust it everytime before using the PC, there is not other way around it. I live in Delhi and it is just as bad in any metro, be it Bombay, Bangalore, Hyderabad.

I am reviewing the mat along with a Cooler Master STORM Spawn, now I have used a LOGITECH G300 / Razer Salmosa on it and I enjoyed it, not a great step up over the Razer Goliathus neither worse than the same. And it is available at pretty competitive rates online.

Hope this answers you queries, Cheers!!
