Hello,

I already have a ultrabook, with a crappy gtx 940m which i use for light gaming(war thunder) whenever i travel for work. Now looking to buy a gaming pc to connect to my TV. It needs it to be thin and light so as to not clutter up my tv unit as well as perform really good in gaming at full hd uptil high or ultra settings. This pc will only be used for gaming and nothing else.

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks for the advice.

I purchased it today from SP road. Below are the details if anyone is interested. I did not bargain much though :S

Intel Cire I5 4460 - 12,000
Gigabyte H97 -D3H - 7300
Corsair Vengence - 8+ 8 - 7400
Zotac GTX 970 Amp Omega - 26500
Edition
Sesonic S12II 620w Bronze - 5200
Antec GX900 - 4000
Sea gate 7200 rpm 2 TB - 5240

I did not splurge on the processor since this will be purely for gaming and some Netflix etc. Hope it was a good decision.

Thats killer specs. Prices look very cheap.you sure lucky.Snapdeal shows 38k for that GPU. Are those prices include tax?

Thanks man.

No the the Tax was extra it came to around 3k if i am not wrong.
The version you might have seen in snapdeal must be the amp omega extreme. that is factory clocked at 1228, this one is factory clocked at 1102.

can you tell me from where to get the gtx960?

I guess its all hogwash, since i have been playing on this PC since Sunday. the only problem i have been facing is with trying to stream Witcher 3 etc onto my shield tablet. It plain doesn't work for some reason.
the GTX 970 card is a monster for sure, Running all games at ultra and the temperature doesn't seem to cross 70. and with 5 years of warranty Zotac is a sweet deal too. I think a GTX 980 is overkill unless well you have a 4k display.

I bought these from ankit infotech in SP road. I have heard good reviews about golchait as well. Good luck

Seems like all is Well. I'm also planning to get Asus GTX 960 and Seasonic 520w. There are no Asus cards locally and they won't be.Only cards available are MSI and Zotac. There price starts from 17.5k with no freebie. :(

10 days back they selling Asus gtx 960 for 16-16.5k with witcher3/batman freebie.
This really pisses me off. :\

16k for Asus strix 960 seems a good deal even without the freebie,

Seasonic is compatible with both intel's and amd's ENTIRE line of desktop cpu's including haswell (and its successor broadwell).
the issue i believe was caused by a lack of clarity on the company's side as haswell required lower memory voltage and seasonic did not explicitly list haswell compatibility but don't worry about it.
also don't rush with the gpu purchase. if you want only asus then give it a week or two for fresh stocks to turn up.
the freebie games i thought were offered by nvidia and not the board partner so i think you should get access to download free games from the nvidia site right?
