i hvnt played Counter Strike game til now.. :S

i wanted to kno the basic specifications and advice me on the best version which i can lay my hands on ..

wanna buy one to gift it to a frnd of mine and another one for myself ..

If you are buying now, buy only the Source version.... It should be somewhere around 700 or so......

well..
in CS u get the following versions.

CS 1.5
CS 1.6
CS CZ
CS S

Both 1.6 n S are widely played but its better for u to get the newer Source version..i.e if ur hardware supports it.

Yup if u havent got a decent enough Gfx card, 1.6 or CZ it is then. I think the retail pack costs 699, and Cs:source with dod:s and Hl2m costs 999.
