As the title say's I need a Guidance for preparing a poster based on research proposal.
I have to make two posters that are
1. 1m x 1m.
2. 3 ft x 3 ft.
I know that many of you will think that 1m = 3 ft but that's what confusing me if Google is to be referred. [ pixels in Photoshop ????? ]
a part from the poster size, following are some questions which I have in my mind :
1. what font size should be used on this format page ?
2. what software should be used to create this poster ?- right now working in Photoshop cs5 and power point with office.
3. what type of background should I choose ? - like i am tend to use black and give some light effect to the poster instead of the white background.
4. what should be the font ? - willing to use HEVENTICA instead of times new roman.
5. how should be a poster precised the above scene ?
6. what precautions should I take will entering the text ?
I found that My topic content is pretty BIG so any standard format which I should use ?

Solution
conclusion
Suggestion
any thing else ????

Really in urgency to submit the entries so finger cross and have started working on the raw plan.
Finding it difficult as this is my First time attempt to such thing and that to on such platform
