Need help buying 1.5T Split AC in 2 Days - Please help me decide model

Hi friends,
I have been reading various thread in TechEnclave and am very impressed by the friendly and knowledegable replies given by everyone. So when i decided to buy an AC to counter this intolerable heat in Chennai i decided to approach TechEnclavians to help me choose the best model for me.

My budget is 26k

I had narrowed my choice down to the model Whirlpool WASR18K30 | 1.5 Ton Elite. This was offered at 25,200 with stabiliser +1200 for installation.

However when i went to Next Showroom and vasanth & co showroom the sales persons there strongly recommended the onida 1.5Ton Power Trendy Model. They offered this at 25,800 including stabilser and offered free installation.

They also said that onida offered good service, but many people had said whirlpool also offered excellent service.

Now i am really confused :huh: . Please help me choose the best model in terms of quality inbetween these two. If you think there are other models better than this that suits me within my budget of 26k please let me know about that too.

I need to get this AC within 2 days and so i am really looking forward to your responses here.

Last year when I was on search for BEST VFM AC at that time one local Feddrs Lloyd dealer explain that fedders have THICK COOLING COPPER PIPE (like that don't remember exactly) is very good in dust/polluted environment as it requires to replace after 3-5 yrs and at same time any other brand (except Carrier 1.5 ton and above) requires replacement in just 12-18 months, would cost 2000/- approx.

Not sure about the budget thing - But Hitachi and General would be two of the best ACs out there.

Which one did you buy finally ?
 
hitachi 1.5 ton costs 35k and general costs almosts 40k so no use wasting money on them.
buy carrier ac 1.5 t which is for rs 26-28k and be happy .
