I'd like buy a set of extension tubes for my Canon 1000D DSLR. I tried looking around locally but was not able to find anything similar. I was able to locate it online but have a few doubts.

Option A:

Buy it from eBay.com, LINK 1
This dealer has sold about 110 of those.

LINK 2
Has sold more than a 1000 of those.

OR

Option B:

Buy it from Dealextreme from this LINK

Since my most important concern is delivery into India,

-Which one of these dealers should I buy it from taking delivery (time/customs) into consideration?

-Do yall think customs would have a problem for a hollow tube like this? One of the dealers above has mentioned he'll ship it as Gift..

I need to get it delivered to Delhi. Anyone with previous experience of similar kind, please advise.

Buy it from the cheapest. Just make sure not to go for EMS/Express shipping. It should come in 2-3 weeks.

DealExtreme will ship it without any problems. I don't think there will be any problem with Customs as you can get gifts upto Rs.5000 from abroad without paying any duty. DE sends its products marked as gifts. But check the quality as DE products are Chinese.

There was a post sometime back in TE regarding a guy with several accounts in Ebay who sells mainly cameras. Check if those sellers are this guy before buying.

i would go with dealextreme.

either way there should not be any issues getting it delivered to india, but with dealextreme many ppl have shopped often plus they have good packing with bubble papers n stuff. plus customer service is good.

ebay you are dependent on the seller and it doesnt show detailed feedback n reviews.

Thanks guys,

I finally ordered from DE, after conversion costs me Rs.460/- which is good. Awaiting shipment, lets see how long it takes.

Cheers..

ebay sucks i was at a transaction and the guy refused to buy so i filed a non buy and till date around 4yrs they r asking for their fees
