Just shifted to Hyderabad , need help in selecting unlimited broadband plan if available. Preferred Speed atleast 1mbps

Location: Vasanth Nagar, K.P.H.B.

Available ISP: You, Beam, Airtel, BSNL.

Suggest an ISP which has decent service and no hassle from customer care.

Beam has quiet a big fanbase in te For those who stay in hyd'bad.
They have those 10mbps plans you could look into that.

Opt Beam with another Backup connection. Beam is not always Reliable especially if you are choosing it for Serious Purpose.

Hey Metalspree. I live in Kukatpally and I have excel media connection. (750/-pm 1.5mbps d/Land 512mb U/L. No FUP ). They are really good(At least in my area). You will not have more than 1 hr down time in a month. I am not facing even that from 6 months.

I dont think Airltel has any such high bandwidth No FUP plans.

@Metal- I have been using beam, they give phenomenal speeds at very reasonable rates, and yes they do have a few maintenance issues, but I had no problems!

depend on preferences..

if it not necessary for critical use (like office work)..go with beam..their CC sucks really..

but you can rely on AIRTEL for almost negligible downtime...check out the new plans with much better FUP and speeds.

Have taken Beam as of now. Need some info on choosing a wifi router, since its a cable modem will any router work with it?

Hey even I was looking for a router with my beam cable connection. Will I be able to use My ADSL wireless router from my previous connection?

You can use any Normal router other than your ADSL Routers. Let me know your budget for Router?

i live in hyderbad and i've their 10mbps plan

im looking to buy a router too for connecting my lappy as well..suggest me one

I have Been Recommending ASUS RT-N13U which Costs Rs 2800 at CTC. It has lots of Features and is worth buying.

If you looking out for a basic router Belkin(N150) would be Fine. how much is your budget?

Even I'm looking for a router for my Beam Cable connection. Ideally wouldn't want to spend more than 2k. What would be the additional features of the Asus model here for which I need to shell out 2.8k.
