Hi!
Somehow, volume controls were modified. I don't know how, whether it was done it on its own or I did something. Really I don't know. Now recording volume is down (It's audible but not the maximum). I have attached two images (from imageshack), please have a look. And tell me whether it's normal or it's changed. SPDIF volume in "Volume" is reduced and Line volume, CD volume, Mic volume, Stereo volume in "Record" are reduced and these all are disabled and I am not able to push it to maximum.
I want to keep them at maximum (I mean, the things which need to be at maximum for recording at good (max) sound). How to enable it? Please explain step by step. Thank you.
Info: OS: Win XP sp2; Audio drivers are up to date;
How did I come to know that the recording volume is low?
I am using Audacity to for recording purpose. I pulled an audio file which was recorded few months ago, I compared it with the recent one. The recent one's wave is too small.
