Hey guys,

This something new to me & I am not able to enter bios. I had dismantled my PC for cleaning + upgrades & now I am getting this error.

New CPU Installed! Please enter setup to configure your system.
Chassis Intruded!
Fatal Error...System Halted.

Am using Asus P5Q E mobo with Q9550, if anybody has a clue pls help me out. It is very annoying.

Thanks

Reset/Clear BIOS using the Jumper on the Mobo, or remove the Button cell on the mobo and power on the machine after a min or so shutdown the machine put in the battery again...

No need of all that ^^

There is an option in the BIOS

- Chassis Intrusion Check -

And a connector on the Mobo for the same.

Disable the option, as anyway 99% cabinets do not have the connector for this feature.

For New CPU, just enter the BIOS, do a save settings, and exit.

^^^

He has already mentioned that he is not able to access BIOS,
And the Chassis Intrusion Check is disabled in BIOS as Default settings...
And thats why i have mentioned resetting the BIOS will disable the Chassis intrusion
and he will be able to Access BIOS too...
