Need help for a Config !!!

Hey Guys, Need some help in deciding a config for a friend.

BUDGET : Rs 20,000

Dont need a full config, just need these 4 things. Will be buying from Lamington Road , Mumbai !!!

Processor : (AMD Preferred)
Mobo : (Any good one which supports ddr3 memory + usb3)
GPU : (ATI 6xxx series Preferred, will be used a lot of animation stuff / Casual gaming)
Cabinet : (Simple, that fit's everything in , if it comes with additional fans then even better)

If u have any other config which is Intel + Nvidia based, then feel free to post it. Dont mind going for that as well.

Any help is highly appreciated. :D
 
Phenom2 X2 555 BE ~ 4.5k / Phenom2 X4 955 ~ 6k

Gigabyte 880g USB3 ~ 4.5k

Cabinet : NZXT gamma or Cooler Maste Elite ~ 2.5K

GPU : Radeon 6770

^^ Sire Intel is affordable in your budget [slightly over your budget but will work out better in the long run], performs better @lower power consumed --

Intel Core i3 2100 ~ 6200/- [Intel dual core-HT vs. AMD quad core AnandTech - Bench - CPU]

MSi H67A E35 ~ 5200/-

nVidia Quadro FX 380 [or similar] ~ 6800/- [a proper professional graphic card will work wonders in your animation work-spaces, whilst can play most casual games with some alacrity]

NZXT Gamma ~ 2300/- [great cabinet trashes the eLite line-up -- NZXT Gamma Review - Overclockers Club]

FSP Saga II 400W ~ 1900/-

I have a Antec True Power 550W power supply, will that suffice for this config?
 
Yes your psu will suffice for this config.

^^ OP if you are into animation + casual gaming go for the Quadro graphics series due to the fact that nVidia cards are better when it comes to productivity applications like Adobe Master Collection and Autodesk MAYA / 3Ds Max.

And why are you buying the AMD [Deneb] IIx4 in place of the Core i3?

Do not buy the AMD card, if you want to buy a gaming card in the same price band, try to grab a MSi GTS 550 Ti OR GTS 450 ~ 7000/-, they'll suit your needs [play most games @medium settings + 720p resolution and nVidia CUDA cores will bail you out in productivity apps].

Hope this helps, oh and the Antec SMPS will do just fine for such a configuration.
 
^^ alpha : Thanks for the tip mate, but i think we will be going with the AMD config for this one. The below mentioned config is final just need to decide the GPU & the SMPS. Budget has been increased to 35k

Processor : Phenom2 X4 955 ~ 6k

Mobo : Gigabyte 880g USB3 ~ 4.5k

Cabinet : NZXT LEXA S Crafted Series ~ 4.4k

Ram : CORSAIR Vengeance 2x 4GB DDR3 ~ 3.2k

TOTAL SO FAR : 18.1k

Still need to figure out the Graphics card and the SMPS.

Budget Remaining : 15k
