Need help for after effect pro's :)

guys i am new to after effects means i only know a little about like how to use small small effects and i am learning it right now but i have to make a video on I.T or introduction to I.T and so running out of ideas :(

plus i don't know how to use trap-code effectively.

can any body help he with ideas and project files ?????

i am running out of time and have to show the video on Tuesday :(

plz help me with ideas + what kind of sound / music should i give to the video { completely noob about sound in after effect }:@ + if any one interested to help me in form of sharing a after effect project file ;)

i have all mostly use trap-code and video copilot optical flares plugin's in after effect cs5 :)

video is to be nearly of 1 min or more or short if i am able to tell my message in the video in short :)

remember the video is only going to tell what is I.T and need of I.T professionals :)

plz don't give me links to tutorials as i am running out of time and i am having them already :P
 
after effects is for adding effects to frames. for movies you need adobe premiere pro. have you worked on that?

first thing you need to do is record the track for the video. its easier to mould the video to an audio track.

and what kind of I.T. related videos can be edited ???

i tried the you tube to find some but failed :(

i just need to tell whats the importance of I.T. field :)
 
first ready the script. animation from scratch requires flash and 3dsmax, not an option now unless you know them.. in After efects its harder for some and easier for some. start writing a script man. get some pictures and videos to support the script. use your textbooks and wiki. i can try to whip up a script(if u need but i am not an IT so it will not be overtly technical).. then add pics, movies and transitions over that.
 
Such a short time isnt enough to learn after effects and have the end product in your hands in one day.
If you have worked on your content(what to tell in the message), use a simpler video editor like ulead video studio...if u want a little after effect like quality, find and download videos like
1.Light Drip - YouTube
2.Sanodg - "From Time to Time" - Original Background Animation - YouTube
etc and use those as your background...and put your text on top.
you will end up with a glorified ppt in motion, but totally worth one day's efforts. and since you are using it in a presentation, remember CONTENT is important, not showy effects. so work on it and all will be well.
 
its not a presentation but a trailer type video in which ijust want to tell what accually Information technology is and how do it help a common man :)

like helps in banking sector or market sector for saving digital data, securing data, processing data for research, security on web and national cyber security .

its just to tell the importances of this field.

the real moto behind this trailer/video is t e launch of an IT magazin which Idesigned and made and its an intranet based magazin so iwas only told to make the video :)

Iam just running out of ideas due to this process and so need help.

Making films and videos is not something you can learn in a week. It's not like Powerpoint that anyone can make a presentation. It's not just about learning After Effects. It takes years of experience to grasp the craft. I suggest you hire a professional to do the job for you. I know I am not being helpful but that's the best idea I can give you.
 
Iknow a little about after effect but and its that much what required but Iam running out of ideas :(
