Need help for PF clearance from Chennites

Hi,

I left a complany in 2010, which has got the PF account opened in chennai ( I worked at hyderabad). In 2010 november time I closed my pf account.

In jan 2011, checques/ecs was sent to my account. And only one cheque was deposited to my account.

I kept calling them regarding the same.

I opened a case on this issue and no one replied

Finally I got hold of the chennai PF comissioner PA and she pushed the case a litte.

In december 2011 I received a letter from Pf office asking me to submit more document.

I sent them through my employer, they submitted in dec-jan time.

I have been following up with them from 1 and hlf year but no proper response.

The amount stuck was about 32k.

Now I need some help from chennai TEins on this, if any one can help in clearing this It would be really great.

PF account office: Royapettah high road.chennai.

I am not in Chennai but I have had a horrid time getting my money too. Due to their office being moved, they had stopped accepting applications altogether for about 6 months and later on kept delaying work due to the heavy backlog they had accumulated over this time. Your best bet is to get in touch with the person who handles the PF accounts for your company and be after his life.

If some one can go and talk to them directly , it would be really great. I called them at least 200 times, out of which I was able to get hold of some one only for 10 times. Each time each person gives me a different reply.

at least, if you know some good broker who can clear this, I need his number..
 
So they deposited one cheque but that was not full amount. Is this what you said? you mean out of Pension and PF only one thing is deposited. I wonder why will they do this. BUT in any case the best way to get it is RTI. Just send one RTI application and they'll respond in specified time for sure.
 
I can try going there but only possible on weekends because my office is far away and cant go on weekdays. I will discuss with my sister as to what she did.. i think she went there once before when she had some problem with this PF

When you close your PF, every one will get 2 cheques. They are actually different amount from two different accounts. Out of the two cheques/transaction that were did on the same day to same account, one is successful and the other one failed due to some reason. So that cheque is still pending with them from over an year.

Go to the EPFO site and there's a link to register grievances on the left panel. I tried this and got my PF payments which were stuck since 2 yrs !
 
Kneo, I have already raised the compliant and sent a reminder after 3 months. Still no response. Then I spoke to PA of the PF comissioner.. then she pushed it a little.

The output was a letter to my house asking me to submit more documents/ some form which I donwloaded form internet. This was submitted in Jan 2012,and no response futher from there.
