Need Help in buying a PS3 NTSC

Hi guys,

Im in desperate need of a favour from any of you guys who are in BANGALORE. Im going to buy a PS3, and i tried SP road, a copule of shops i went and asked, i got a reply "So you wanna get the PS360?"...Im not going to say much more.
The dealer who quoted me the price of 22K unfortunately has backed out as there are no more stocks available for this product. And the best part about it is that it was the exact model that i wanted to get. The priced NTSC PS3 USA Region.
The No.1 Reason why im not going over to planet M to get it is coz, there is one feature that is missing from the Planet M version which is PS2 HARDWARE compatibility.
So If any one knows of any shops or dealers phone number either in National Market or Sp Road who might have this particular version, Please let me know.

Will try today, im heading out to SP road / NM again today with a copule of my friends. THanks for the heads up.
 
Finally got my PS3. Didnt get the USA version, but got the one imported from singapore. So it s the same one aswell. (NTSC-J). Got it for 22K. HURRAY!
Tried Bajaj Complex, but prices werent too good. And they didnt have the 60 they all had the 80GB. So i went into sukh sagar mall (next to bajaj) and got to know a dealer who said that they dont import 60GB's anymore since the 80GB is around 22.7K and why would anyone want the 60 for 22K, when u can add 700 and get 20GB's. So i told him why, and he called and asked me to give him some time, so i did and he got one imported for me.

Phew ~ ~

And i bought the Time Crisis 4 With Gun Con from him aswell, for about 4000. Which was a pretty good deal ~ ~

Nope got it from some other dude, he's got a shop that sells cell phones and camera and all the other junk. He tells me that he can even get an LCD 40 Inch tv for quite a deal. So thats next on my list. He quoted the Sony Full HD 40" for about 100K, which is quite okay.

Its g5 or g6 thats the store name, some dude wearing glass's. And unfortunately no one had resistance fall of man. So i got Ghost Recon. Its the third or the 4th shop on the left after entering the complex. Not sure ~ ~

could u try playing a normal hindi movie DVD and tell me if it plays...There's a debate going on as to whether PS3(NTSC-J)can play region 5 dvd's or only those meant for Japanese audiences..
 
Err Sorry but i dont have any hindi movies. I burned my own transformers movie(DVD not sure which region) and it worked flawlessly. Scratch that it worked a hell lot better than my PS2 (lame @$$ comparisson i know ... but what else would u expect from an over joyed geek). Hey hang on a minute, when i asked that dude, at the dealers he tested the ps3 WITH A HINDI MOVIE. Dont ask me which 1 it was some old movie, but swear to god, i saw it being played. No issues what so ever. I didnt know that the PS3 had region encoding for the DVD...i heard you can play any vob files on it or something.

Can you give me the name of the hindi DVD which is having issues playing, ill try to buy it online and test it out for you.
