need help in buying laptop 35k-40k

Dear friends, I want to buy laptop within 20days.
Configuration i want is Intel i5,500gb hdd, 4gb ram Can u suggest some brands and models with range between 35000-40000
 
What are your(friend's) needs?

Your title said budget upto 40k but the post says max. 37k. What is the exact price range that you are looking at?

No operating system just dos , i will install myself
Graphics card 1gb
2 usb 3.0 and 1 usb 2.0 port
How about dell vostro 3550 and dell inspiron 15 r
 
Errr... Didnt you mention that in the first post itself. What i asked was what purpose is the laptop going to be used for?

Like just browsing, HD movies, office, gaming or some photoshop or any professional s/w etc....

Also mention a clear budget range. The first post and the title has different budget ranges.
 
I am dowin btech in cse last year. I need for making project. Also i will be doing stuff like watching hd movies, gaming etc.

It cost me 30990 with a free 1 tb hdd from Ebay using the coupon code CARNIVAL08. I received the laptop in 3 days.
I hope to review it in 2 days.
 
The x220 is available in India. Check Lenovo website and Ebay. Also if you fancy a very powerful ultraportable - check out the HP 2560p. Brilliant 12.5' ultraportable with a dvd-writer!
 
Guys suggest something keeping my configuration in mind.

Can i get dell xps 15 within this budget

And what about dell inspiron 15r and dell vostro 3550

Can not find it in lenovo India site.
