Need Help In Choosing Wireless N Router, Belkin N750 Or Netgear Rangemax Wndr3700?

Hello, my friend is searching for a wireless router which can serve his two storeyed house. Router will be placed in ground floor bedroom and the signal should be sufficiently strong to stream videos or game online from the 1st floor. He is currently considering the Belkin N750 and the Netgear WNDR3700. Can anyone using these post opinions? Any alternative suggestion is also welcome.

Go for Asus N56. Belkin is not that great for range. I have Playmax N600, though it gives good speed, my N13 U B1 gives far better range than that. Range on my ground floor is excellent, and routers are placed on 1st floor. N56 is said to give better range than N13, plus its dual band and has 5 internal antennas. Also belkin has only 1 yr warranty whereas asus has 3 yrs.

Got Belkin Playmax router replaced for the second time in an year as I faced a lot of heating and software issues with it and its been discontinued by belkin for now, but this time I got belkin DB600 as a replacement. I would say its the best router as it throws signals to a far off distance also looks good and stays cool

Good to hear the updated belkin play max is lot better, but sadly my n600 play max is dd-wrt flashed and no warranty remaining
