CPU/Mobo Need help in CPU RMA (intel)- Ahmedabad

Hi guys,

My friends intel CPU Q9400 got fried along with his Motherboard. He bought the proccy from delhi and right now he is in ahmedabad.
Now he is clueless about RMA. Could you please give any suggestion/information on this.

Hi guys

My friend had GA-EP45-UD3R and it got replaced by GA-EP45T-UD3R which is a new board for DDR-3 RAM. Now he is confused if GA-EP45T-UD3R is equal or better then his old GA-EP45-UD3R. Please let me know if you guys know any specific differences between those apart from RAM type.

Does anyone have any idea about the cost of GA-EP45T-UD3R ?

I searched and only found GA-EP45T-UD3LR on the internet which is 20 bucks cheaper then his old Motherboard.

Other than that please advice any good ddr3 ram. I am thinking of XMS3 since he is on low budget.

If he is not going to over clock then value select memory is fine from corsair or similar from Gskill.

do you know about the boards? Is there any difference between them apart from RAM?

Haven't seen GA-EP45T-UD3R model on gigabyte official site.
But normally T models have ddr3 memory & perhaps it is the only difference.
