Need Help in depositing money at Bank of America Account [USA]

Bought a cellphone on ebay.com about 1 month back , The seller was not having proper paypal account , after my payment realization seller sent the cellphone , but after a few weeks payment got refunded to me back .

Now the problem is I dont know how to transfer money to USA bank .

I cant keep the cellphone for free , as the seller is a student like me and also friend on FB

Please show me the way to deposit the cash .

it was a 160$ item including shipping .

Go to the head branch of any bank(preferably the one in which you have your account) in your city and do the transaction. You'll lose the conversion charges + some fee ~ approx 1500 INR. The transaction would take about a day or two. You'll need the SWIFT code, Bank name, branch and beneficiary. Carry some ID proof with you also.

Why not just ask the seller to create a new PayPal account? It is really easy and doesn't take a lot of time or resources. That is also the best way for you to do the transfer, not to mention cheaper.

Yep, what you need to do is called a "Wire Transfer".

Go to your bank and tell them you need to do a wire transfer. You would need the SWIFT code of your friend's bank and his account details. It would take approx 48 hours for the amount to get transferred.
