Can you tell me the procedure so that next time such situation arises i dont need to bump this thread ?

Last option will be to use whitener :P

Does the excel itself contain that statement, or are you talking about the printout?

Additionally, if you could just post a screenie of what you are saying (masking out the website name if you wish to), it might be more helpful in suggesting something

Never mind, your screenie was uploaded at the same time I posted :)

Are the cells read-only? If so, try your luck by changing them to edit mode. Luck because if the user has put in a password for edits, you might have issues.

Updated the main post with the picture

And yeah tried in editing mode - its password protected :(

Take screenshot, remove hyperlink in paint and print :P bigger the monitor, bigger the screenshot, better clarity.

Print the form as a pdf (Can happen if u have adobe pdf reader pro or Open Office)... and then convert to doc... Take out the line and print it normally...

Hope that helps...

And if u are sort on time then just print it and use the correction pen...

yeah tried many ways but no use

@ lida thats time consuming process

i need to give it at 8.30 today - will use whitener only :P

Try uploading the excel file to Google Docs. I remember reading somewhere that it removes the editing protection. Then you can edit/print.

Its not really time consuming and it wont take more than 10mins (provided u have all the sws)... The only good thing about this process is that it will look more professional... Using a correction pen does not make a good impression...

Wow, so Google Docs just doesn't honor password protection of any kind? Bravo Google!
