PC Peripherals Need Help in selecting Mother Board and Graphics Card combination

Hi Tech Gurus,

I was planning to go for a system upgrade and was planning to buy the Quad Code Q6600 or Q6670 processor. Want to know what is the latest price for the above mentioned processors.

Also I was planning to buy a MSI P45- 8D Memory Lover Mother Board and a Palit HD 4850 graphics card. Could anybody please confirm if the above combination will work or will I face any compatibility issue.

The q6600 is about 9.7-10k.

Any particular reason you going for the MSI p45-8D? Are you going to use DDR3s? At what price are you getting that?

It has a PCI-E x16, so your HD4850 should work just fine.
