Graphic Cards Need help installing gfx card

Hi folks. I just picked up a gfx card which has a 6-pin connector for power. However, my PSU doesn't have a 6-pin PCIE power connector. Only 4-pin (for CPU) and 8-pin.

The card came with a Y-type cable. One end is the 6-pin connector which goes into the gfx card and the other two ends are the standard 4-pin power connectors.

Am I supposed to connect both 4-pin connectors, or just one?

** I have a 400W Powersafe PSU (20A on 12v). I will upgrade tomorrow but I just want to test out the card.
 
XFX 7900GS extreme ed. I connected both ends and its working so far. about to switch to a game. thanks a bunch!!
