Hi all,
I installed prince of persia:sands of time on my AMD 64 3200+ comp. When I try to play the same, I get the following message -
PackedAllocator::Malloc():Unable to find a suitable page for allocation size 3424972144.Returning NULL.
Filename:\builds\v181a\(sans safedisk)\Extern\Base\common\src\base\memory\packedallocator.cpp
LineNo: 121
Three Options are available - Abort, Retry and Ignore.
When i press Retry, the same error comes back.
When i press Ignore, I am asked whether I want to see this same error message another time if it occurs. I always press "yes" since I wanted to know if the next time, it is the same or something different.
I have POP:SOT installed on a diff partition than my WinXP partition. Also, I have 5 GB free on the POP partition and 7 GB free on the Win Partition. Using a 512 MB single ram module. I doubt if it is my RAM stick which is causing the problem and will be changing it. But thought I might ask around if anyone else has encountered the same problem and has a different solution.
Hope the gurus out here will help me out.
Thanks,
Sooraj.
