For this price you get a quad core. Quads are the future. With time you will get more applications utilizing its full potential. Plus Windows 7 is much better than Vista when it comes to optimally using all cores of a processor. The 785G is the best IGP till date. It blows away the G31 and can handle HD videos with eaze and also allow you to play light games. The is the most balanced setup for under 25k. Plus the difference b/w 250GB and 500GB is minimal. You can easily squeeze in a 500GB in your budget. Go for the Biostar TA785GE mobo~4k. It has a 128MB sideport memory and gives a graphics performance boost of 10-15%. if you are sticking to a IGP then buying the AMD+785G makes the most sense.

g31 onboard gfx is utter wank, go with 785g amd x4 combo. its much better than outdated intel dual core

^Asus m4a78-em/1394 or gigabtyte 780g better alternative to biostar mobo, just costs 1k more, u could get zebronics bijli/reaper (with psu) for 1.5k instaed of getting branded psu esp u wont be using dedicated gpu

Integrated graphics processor, its used in cases where there is no dedicated GPU(Graphical processing Unit)..
The biostar 785g easily lets you play crysis at low settings

+1 for karthi007’s rig except for one change. Get the Cooler Master Elite 335 with the in-built PSU. This is a 400W CM Extreme Power which has 20A on the 12V rail and has a graphics card connector too. Comes for under 4k together. This PSU is not sold separately.
