I am developing a website using php. As a part of functionality, I've to allow for the registered users to upload there profile picture. (Just one pic per user).
I have got some doubts.
Q1. What is the best way to store the images?Blob or is there something else
Q2. Is there a way, I can restrict the size/resolution of the image?
Q3. In orkut (and may be available on other sites as well), I can upload an image and then using some tool, just select a section of it to be my profile image. Can I do this kind of thing for my website as well?
