Budget = Rs.4500
CPU = core 2 duo E7500 @2.93 GHz
Motherboard = DG31PR
RAM = 4GB DDR2
Monitor = hcl. 1366x768 resolution.
SMPS = local made. 300Watt

I m a casual gamer. I need a descent fps while gaming :)
Resolution 1280 x 720 .
Any Ati/Nvidia would do. (Basically a low power consumption).
Thanks :)

MSI NVIDIA N630GT-MD4GD3 4 GB DDR3 Graphics Card | Graphics Card | Flipkart.com

630 is entry level GPU from Nvidia, and this will suffice for casual gaming at 720p res. I do not know How fine it will run BF3, but it should give you ~30FPS with low~med settings at 1366 X 768 res.

Mostly it requires 300W power supply, but since you are using local PSU, I would strongly advice to update your PSU first.

Better wait for some time and increase your budget, and upgrade both GPU and PSU.
1) Get This GPU : MSI AMD R7770-2PMD1GD5 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card | Graphics Card | Flipkart.com
2) Get this PSU : Seasonic S12II 430 Watts PSU | Psu | Flipkart.com

With above ATI 7770 GPU, you will get pretty good performance under 720p res.

^ Agreed, at that budget 5670 or 6670 are the only real options. Also, just saw that its a local make 300 Watt PSU. I know of people who run these cards on unrated PSUs without any problems. Still, it is a small risk.

fps :) wanna try my hands at bf3,mw,hawx,codgta4 on my pc xD :)

Don't think this counts as casual gaming, unless you mean you game occasionally.

Yes running HD6670 on a local 300W PSU is a little risky so it's op's call or he can get corsair CX430V2-2.4k a good psu for future upgrade.

Dont forget that he is going to run the games at a 1366x768 or below resolutions. So both the CPU and GPU will have load shared. GPu wont be loaded till 100% in most of the games, from my experience, 5670/6670 can easily run on 300w Psu. Only if OP wants to have a future proof system/6x7 gaming rig he can get a branded/recognized Psu.

@op, kindly let us know the ampere rating on +12v rail

i believe a 300 w local psu should easily handle a hd 6670.i speak from experience,i once ran a gts 250 on a 420 w(min required is 450w) local psu fr 2 years.my psu delivered 17 amps on the 12v rail,the 250 demands 18,i suppose i survived by the skin of my ass. :P

Thank You all. I've increased my budget to 6k, i've decided to go with the Radeon HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card. But Does this support my Motherboard? It requires PCI-E 2.1 Bus Std.Backward Compatible? Also suggest me if i need to go with any other card. :) Thanks.

Yes it is compatible. In between 5.5k and 6k, 6670 ddr5 is the only option.

Your Opinion on Gts 450 ddr5 ? Im getting these both at same cost. I'll probably add some more bucks for the PSU :D

Guess, no one saw the link i posted before. HD 6670 1GB DDR5 at 4.7K . I guess that's a steal and you can get it shipped within 5K. Go for it :)
